Domestic(for Japan)
Delivery Timeframe (Dispatch & Delivery Estimates)
- We dispatch orders within 3 business days after the order is confirmed.
- Domestic (Japan): delivery is typically within 7 days after dispatch.
- International: delivery times vary depending on customs clearance and transportation conditions.
Delivery Date/Time Selection (Domestic Only)
- You may select a preferred delivery date and time at checkout (domestic deliveries only).
- Available dates are set with a buffer and can be selected from 4 days after the order date.
- If you need the item urgently, choosing no date/time selection may result in the fastest delivery. Time-slot selection only is also available.

Tracking
- A tracking number will be provided after dispatch.
- If you enter your email address, you will receive a dispatch notification including the tracking number.
Loss, Damage, or Delivery Issues
- If your parcel has not arrived several days after dispatch, please contact the carrier first using the tracking number.
- We can also assist with confirming the status if needed—please contact us.

Free Domestic Shipping
- Free shipping applies to orders of JPY 25,000 or more (JPY 30,000 or more for Okinawa).
- This applies to one shipping address within Japan only.
- Free shipping may not apply to certain items due to size, weight, or other conditions.
International Shipping
International orders are shipped by DHL Express with tracking and insurance.
Delivery usually takes 3–10 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination, customs clearance, and local delivery conditions.
Shipping rates are based on the destination, packed weight, and packed size of each order. As ceramic works require careful packing, shipping is calculated not from the weight of the work alone, but from the packed size including the wooden box, cushioning materials, and outer box.
For works with an original wooden box, we set the shipping weight for each item by taking the box size and the necessary packing space into account. For works without a wooden box, we also take into account the size of the work, cushioning materials, and the outer box.
International shipping rates are set to include careful packing, tracking, fuel surcharge, and part of the insurance-related costs. As fuel surcharges and other additional charges may vary, we may contact you after your order if the work is large, requires special packing, or if the destination involves additional delivery conditions.
Shipping rates may be updated from time to time due to changes in carrier rates, fuel surcharges, packaging requirements, or other applicable charges. The shipping rate shown at checkout will apply to your order.

Small works: up to 2.5kg
Medium works: up to 5.5kg
Large works: up to 8kg
Oversized works: up to 12kg
Customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, and any other local charges are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the item price or in our shipping rates.

Thank you for choosing our authentic Japanese crafts. Due to recent changes in U.S. trade policy (2026), please be aware that all imports from Japan are now subject to customs duties and processing fees.
Import Duties: Under current regulations, an import duty of approximately 10–15% of the order value is typically applied. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
DHL Advancement Fee: Since we ship via DHL Express for secure delivery, DHL will pay the customs duties on your behalf to expedite clearance. For this service, DHL charges an "Advancement Fee" (approx. $17–$22 USD), which will be billed to you along with the duty.
Payment Process: Once your package arrives in the U.S., DHL will contact you via email or SMS with instructions on how to pay the outstanding balance. The package will be released for final delivery after payment is confirmed.
Please note that the final amount is determined solely by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We appreciate your understanding in supporting traditional Japanese craftsmanship under these global trade conditions.

For multiple-item orders, the final shipping cost may be lower than the amount calculated by simply adding the volumetric weight of each item.
