Domestic(for Japan)
Delivery Timeframe (Dispatch & Delivery Estimates)
- We dispatch orders within 3 business days after the order is confirmed.
- Domestic (Japan): delivery is typically within 7 days after dispatch.
- International: delivery times vary depending on customs clearance and transportation conditions.
Delivery Date/Time Selection (Domestic Only)
- You may select a preferred delivery date and time at checkout (domestic deliveries only).
- Available dates are set with a buffer and can be selected from 4 days after the order date.
- If you need the item urgently, choosing no date/time selection may result in the fastest delivery. Time-slot selection only is also available.

Tracking
- A tracking number will be provided after dispatch.

Loss, Damage, or Delivery Issues

Free Domestic Shipping
- Free shipping applies to orders of JPY 25,000 or more (JPY 30,000 or more for Okinawa).
- This applies to one shipping address within Japan only.
- Free shipping may not apply to certain items due to size, weight, or other conditions.
International Shipping
International orders are shipped primarily by EMS (Express Mail Service) with tracking and compensation coverage. Orders to the United States are currently shipped by DHL Express with tracking and insurance.
EMS delivery usually takes approximately 3–10 business days after dispatch. DHL Express delivery to the United States usually takes approximately 3–7 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, customs clearance, local delivery conditions, weekends, and holidays.
EMS shipping rates are determined by the destination and estimated total packed weight of the order. The packed weight includes the work, any original wooden box, the outer shipping box, cushioning materials, and other necessary packing materials.
Unlike courier services that may use volumetric weight, EMS shipping charges are based on the actual packed weight, provided that the parcel is within the size limits of the destination country. This allows us to prioritize safe and careful packing for ceramic works.
Shipping rates include careful packing, tracking, and part of the applicable compensation or insurance-related costs. Rates may be updated due to changes in carrier charges, packaging requirements, or other applicable costs. The shipping rate shown at checkout will apply to your order.

United States — DHL Express
Orders to the United States are currently shipped by DHL Express because of the special customs and duty-prepayment requirements applying to postal shipments entering the United States.

Shipping categories for the United States are determined by considering the weight and size of the work, the original wooden box, required cushioning materials, and DHL volumetric weight. Large but lightweight works and works requiring special packing may require an individual shipping quotation.
Customs Duties and Import Charges
Customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, carrier disbursement fees, and any other local charges are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping rate unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The amount of any duties or local charges depends on the destination country, the value of the order, and the customs classification of the items. We are unable to guarantee or provide a fixed percentage in advance.
For orders shipped to the United States, DHL may contact the recipient by email or SMS to collect applicable duties, taxes, and clearance-related fees before final delivery.
Large Works and Multiple-item Orders
If you are considering purchasing a large work or multiple items, please contact us before placing your order so that we can provide a more accurate shipping estimate. Combined packing may result in a lower total packed weight than the amount calculated separately for each item.
