Maiko Miyaoka

Works at Kagetsu-gama kiln in Ome, Tokyo.  Drawing on early Imari ware, she develops her work through study and reference.  she makes vessels with soft glazes and calm, unforced forms—pieces that sit quietly and grow more familiar through daily use.
