Hagi Tokkuri (Sake Carafe)
A plump, rounded body, a short neck, and a thin rim that opens gently create a line that feels fluid and pared back. The brightness of Hagi clay combines with the haze of a semi-opaque glaze, giving the surface a softly veiled presence. Crackle runs across the entire vessel. The area inside the tatatsuki is trimmed to form the foot. From the lower body up toward the kodai, small hima appear—window-like spots where the surrounding glaze gathers, yet the clay is left exposed.
