梶原靖元 灰釉板皿「為誰浄」
唐津で作陶する梶原靖元の板皿。たたら（板状にした胎土）をそのまま焼いたようなごく侘びた簡素な姿である。
線刻された良寛の法華経の讃の一節（漢字3文字）の書体は、良寛のそれではなく、梶原靖元の字、である。灰釉という名ではあるが、斑釉のようにみえる部分もあり、イネ科の灰も使われているようにも見える。
焼成の過程で生じた歪みはそのままであり、ガタつく部分もある(動画をご参考ください)。質素な暮らしをしていた良寛の経文が記されるのにふさわしいものとして、こういうあり方の皿なのだ、と思って受け止めて使っていただければと思う。何かを置く台、あるいは座辺に飾るもの、眺めるものとしても用を成してくれるものであろう。
