Shikamaru Takeshita

Shikamaru Takeshita is a ceramic artist based in Mashiko, he works with local Mashiko clay—making yakishime (unglazed, high-fired) pieces—and also produces porcelain works. Multi-day kiln firings form the foundation of his practice.
