唐津の梶原靖元による書作品。軸装。
もともとは書のみであったが、梶原靖元もとい薪水翁が、展覧会初日の在廊時に、即興で松の絵を書き足したもの。もちろん表具した状態での一発勝負であった。その度胸というか自信というか、さすがというしかなかった。
《非絲非竹松聲》 朝鮮時代中期の文官、詩人である李睟光 (1563-1628)の詩句に基づく。『芝峯集』所収の「飲茶」より。管弦の楽の音ではなく、お湯の沸く音の快さ。松聲はまた茶の湯の沸くときの音を松林に吹く風鳴りの音に喩えたもの。〘訓読〙糸にあらず竹にあらず松の声。
