International Orders

Rigan Gallery & Chanoyu accepts international orders for selected works.

This page explains international shipping, customs duties, packing, and translations for customers outside Japan.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped by DHL Express with tracking and insurance.

Delivery usually takes 3–10 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination, customs clearance, and local delivery conditions.  

Shipping is available to selected countries and regions. If your country or region is not available at checkout, please contact us before placing an order.

Shipping Rates 

Shipping rates are based on the destination, packed weight, and packed size of each order.

As ceramic works require careful packing, shipping is calculated not from the weight of the work alone, but from the packed size including the wooden box, cushioning materials, and outer box.

The shipping fee shown at checkout is the fee applied to that order at the time of purchase.

Import Duties, VAT and Customs Fees

Import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, and any other charges required in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee paid at checkout.

Please check with your local customs office or DHL in your country for details before placing an order.

Packing and Insurance

Each work is packed carefully for international transport.

For works with an original wooden box, the packed size may include the wooden box, cushioning materials, and an outer shipping box.

International shipments are sent with tracking and insurance through DHL Express.

Large Works and Multiple Items

For large works or multiple-item orders, please contact us before placing your order so that we can provide a more accurate shipping estimate.

For multiple items, the final shipping fee may be lower than a simple total of the shipping weights shown for each item.

Translations

English translations are being added gradually.
