    絢爛ではないけれど、確かな芯をもった衣を身にまとうという選択がある。手紡ぎ、手織りの和綿には、大地に近い感触と、時間の層のような静かな重さが宿る。綿という素材の印象を超え、茶の湯の席においても自然に受け取られる布として、和綿の着物は一つの正当な可能性を示している。
