永井泉 敷布
染織家・永井泉による敷布。自ら和綿を栽培し、手紡ぎ、手織り、草木染、織りまで、一貫して一人で行う。
この敷布の小品は、和綿手紡ぎ糸を主体としながら経糸の一部に紡績糸を使うことで、適度な軽快感を持つ。
織りの途中で緯糸を変え、縞と格子の模様となる、２つの草木染めの同系色の組み合わせ。
裏地は綿ブロード。
経糸：紡績綿糸、インド綿手紡ぎ糸
緯糸：和綿手紡ぎ糸
染め：くるみ、栗

〈お手入れについて〉
・植物染め作品
普段の洗濯は水、またはぬるま湯で押し洗いしてください。汚れが気になるときは中性洗剤をご使用ください。
褪色や日焼けを防ぐためには、直射日光が当たる場所での使用や保管はお避けください。
・藍染め作品
藍の特性上、汗や雨などで湿った際に、色移りすることがあります。 強く擦った際、摩擦により色落ちすることがあります。
洗濯は上記草木染の作品と同じです。水に浸けた際、水が黄色くなることがありますが、藍建てで使う木灰の色ですのでご安心ください。灰汁をきれいに洗い流すことで、藍の色が冴えてきます。
藍染も草木染も使い、時を経ることで色が変化していきます。たくさん使いながら、布を育ててください。
