手仕事による作品のため、釉調や表情には個体差があります。これらは作品の特性としてご理解ください。

波佐見で制作する陶芸家・川端まさみさんの白磁皿。

白緑と名付けられた深みのある釉調に、呉須の素朴な絵付けが、花形の器形を引き締めている。中心の草文は、器形とデザインからみると、やや過剰のようにも感じられるが、料理が載れば見えなくなり、その時は周縁の呉須が料理を引き立てる。それがこの皿の真価を発揮するときだろう。（全部食べると☑マークが出てくるのだ。）

高台周りにもたゆたうような線が描かれている。縁のほうは薄く、中心にはしっかりとした厚みがあるので、全体としてはやや重たいが、初期伊万里の雑器的な側面をかたどったものともみえる。
