手仕事による作品のため、釉調や表情には個体差があります。これらは作品の特性としてご理解ください。

萩に窯を構える吉野桃李の茶碗。

大別すれば筒茶碗であろう。高台が特徴的で、裏から見れば四方にへら削りされ、足は五角のものが４本削り出されている。高台足の畳付には糸切りがみられる。腰からすっきりとした弧を描き、口縁は端反りする。

胴の中央付近では、胴紐のような筋彫りが巡らされている。

こまかな貫入がみられ、一部には焼成に伴う釉薬の剥がれも見られる。釉薬の垂れがあり、とくに口縁内側部分では全周に景色を作っている。

向き
筒茶碗なので、どちらかといえば寒い季節に向いていると思います。濃茶用途（としては小ぶりではありますが）でも雰囲気を演出してくれそうです。
