唐津の作家・明賀亘史の茶碗。
正面を潰したゆったりとしたサイズの茶碗。口縁は箆で大胆に削られ、高低の落差が多くある。胴には荒々しい轆轤目が走り、凹部が二筋廻っている。
畳付は太くしっかりした輪状で、内外の縮緬により土味が楽しめる。
よく溶けた釉薬は黒、茶、青唐津系の色味、青色などが混じり合い、手に取ると複雑な様相を観察できる。
見込みhは茶溜まりなど無く、平らで、全体の中で動と静の釣り合いをとるかのように、静かに凪いでいる。それがこの茶碗に、風格を加えている。
