Yui's studio is attached to her home. Her lifestyle (the furnishings) is also very beautiful, and I was impressed by how accomplished a person she is.
I realized that the natural glaze and shape could only be created by the hands of people who work in this way.
Yui's pieces have the strength of independent beauty as artworks, but are also thoroughly tools for daily life. At first glance, the surface may appear rough, but it is carefully polished after being taken out of the kiln, making it smooth and gentle to the touch. It shows that the user is well considered.
These are tableware that are meant to be cultivated as part of everyday life, with beauty in practicality.
